A civic leader from Grand Island, Nebraska, Kim West Dinsdale is a native Texan. After earning her bachelor’s degree at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, she worked in marketing and public relations.
Kim serves as a trustee of the West Foundation in Wichita Falls, a private family foundation which supports primary education in Texas. Kim has served on numerous educational and cultural boards in Texas and Nebraska, and has been honoured many times for her philanthropy and service – including being selected in 2005 as Philanthropist of the Year by the Nebraska Association of Fundraising Professionals.
In 2010, Kim joined the Hastings College Board of Trustees, currently serving as Chair of the Hastings College Foundation Board and as a member of the Executive Committee.
