Since 2005, Kelley has been a member of the Administrative Board of the Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre. In addition to chairing a number of patient-centred committees, she is currently serving as Treasurer and a member of the Society’s Executive Committee. In 2011, she was awarded the Society’s Delafield Award in recognition of her work on behalf of the Society.
After graduating from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce with a BSc in Finance, Kelley worked in corporate finance and fixed income capital markets at Salomon Brothers. She later joined Bear Stearns, where she was a Vice President in Corporate Communications and Marketing, and helped to establish its Asian Equity Capital Markets effort in Hong Kong. Although she left investment banking in 1997, she returned to the business world in 2005 with the creation of MrsMonogram.com, an online shopping destination for personalised gift and decorative accessories.
Kelley lives in Bedford, New York, with her husband and their three children. She is active in her community, having served on the executive committee of the St. Matthew’s Church Vestry, as Chairman of the St. Matthews’s School Board, President of the Women of St. Matthew’s Church, a member of the Bedford Village Business Association, and a member of the Brunswick School Parent’s Association Board.
