Alison Belknap began her professional career in equity research on Wall Street, but after a few years shifted to fashion advertising, working on photo shoots in New York.
As a producer and set designer, Alison worked with photographers such as Annie Leibovitz and Peter Lindbergh on location throughout the country and internationally. She specialised in complex shoots requiring special effects and challenging locations such as icebergs, deserts and the top of New York City’s Brooklyn Bridge.
Alison was a founding board member of Ubuntu Africa, an American non-profit which gives support and assistance to HIV-positive children in Khayelitsha, South Africa. She is a parent volunteer at Brunswick School and St. Matthew’s Church (Bedford), and holds an AB in English and American Literature from Harvard College.
